If you’re shopping for seamless activewear, you’ve probably heard of Gymshark. Gymshark has become one of the most buzzworthy activewear brands in the world, thanks to their smart decision to partner with several well-known influencers in the fitness space. At the time of publishing this article, they have almost 5 million followers on Instagram! Not bad for a company started by two college students working out of a garage.
Why is Gymshark so popular?
Here’s why I love the brand:
- Whereas other activewear brands have focused heavily on yoga, running, or casual use, Gymshark is marketed towards actual gym use… specifically weight training.
- Gymshark introduced several fresh and now-iconic styles. Their unique contouring designs have become influential designs in the activeness space. Even major retail players like Victoria’s Secret are creating similar designs!
- Their fabrics are compressive and mold to the body. They stay put, so you don’t have to worry about your leggings sliding down when you’re doing squats.
- Their pieces are designed to be highly breathable and hide sweat.
In recent years, however, Gymshark has been called out for increased prices despite (reported) declining quality.

Aoxjox are one of my favorite brands for seamless activewear.
Their leggings manage to be both compressive and breathable at the same time. The design prevents them from falling down when you’re lifting weights or doing cardio activity.
Note that some colors are more squat-proof than others.I’ve linked a few different versions below, but my favorites are the Aoxjox Women’s High Waist Workout Gym Vital Seamless Leggings Yoga Pants.
