Yogalicious Leggings: Lux vs Nude Tech. Which is more like Lululemon?

Yogalicious vs Lululemon?
Yogalicious is an affordable activewear brand that you find online on Amazon or in TJMaxx, Marshall’s, or Sierra stores.
Some readers were wondering what the difference is between the Yogalicious fabrics and if any of the Yogalicious leggings are actually similar to Lululemon leggings (since they are often compared on blogs and in social media). I own both Yogalicious and Lululemon leggings, so allow me to compare them for you!
Pro tip: Yogalicious leggings are much cheaper on Amazon than on the Yogalicious website!
Pro tip 2: If you want more Yogalicious items that are similar to Lululemon, check out the Ultimate List of Lululemon Alternatives.
Is Yogalicious the same company as 90 Degree by Reflex?
If you’ve ever compared these two brands, you may have noticed some similarities. You are not imagining it. Yogalicious and 90 Degree by Reflex are owned by the same parent company, Reflex Performance Resources Inc. So if you like 90 Degree products, changes are you will enjoy Yogalicious as well, for the similar quality, design, and price point.
Ok enough pro tips and fun facts. Let’s get right into the burning question…
Is Yogalicious as good as Lululemon?
In my very humble opinion, they’re not as good… but they are still very good. I like the Nude Tech leggings best, and I personally think the Yogalicious Nude Tech leggings are better than any of the affordable legging options that I’ve tried from Target, Old Navy, or Gap. And now that they are making leggings without the elastic band in the waistband, I think this was definitely worth a try! The quality is really amazing for the price. You can also pick up a pair of these for a fraction of the price of a pair of Lululemon (seriously, you can buy between 4-6 pairs of these for the price of one pair of Lululemon).
So yeah, I think the quality is pretty darn impressive.
Now let’s move onto the fabric differences and how they compare to Lululemon pieces and specific fabrics.
The Yogalicious Nude Tech legging is similar to Lululemon Aligns

If you love the feel of Lululemon Nulu, check out the Nude Tech line by Yogalicious. Although they are not exactly the same, they are similar.
Pro tip: Don’t stop with the leggings. They also have some great jackets made out of this same material. More info on this at the bottom of this blog post.
Similarities include:
- Soft, slightly brushed fabric
- Four-way stretch
- High waist
- Non-compressive
- Gusset crotch
- Similar seams
Biggest differences:
- Yogalicious offers several legging options in the Nude Tech fabric, and some of them have pockets. This is a big deal if you love pockets because Lululemon does not currently make an Align legging with this feature.
- Yogalicious leggings have a thin band at the top of the waistband, whereas the Lululemon Aligns do not. UPDATE: Yogalicious and 90 Degree by Reflex are starting to make leggings without the elastic band at the top of the waistband. That is awesome if you are bothered by the elastic waistband (like me).
Details:
- Approximate 4½” elastic waistband
- Front Rise 9″
- Back Rise 14″
- Fabric Content: 86% Polyester 14% Spandex
The Yogalicious Lux legging is similar to Lululemon Wunder Unders in Luxtreme

Similarities include:
- Slick, athletic fabric

- Like the Nude Tech line, Yogalicious also offers several legging options in the Lux fabric. And yes, some of them have pockets.
- Some Yogalicious leggings have a thin band at the top of the waistband, whereas the Lululemon Wunder Unders do not. UPDATE: Yogalicious and 90 Degree by Reflex are starting to make leggings without the elastic band at the top of the waistband. That is awesome if you are bothered by the elastic waistband (like me).
Details:
- Front Rise 9″
- Back Rise 14″
- Fabric Content: 83% Polyester 17% Spandex
Also, you should really take a look at Yogalicious jackets
Yogalicious also makes a high-quality active jacket that I recommend. It is similar to Lululemon’s hooded Define jacket. It has similar seams, fabric, and thumbholes. They make a full zip version (with hood), as well as a half zip version without hood. I like it so much that I own multiples.

- Fabric: Varies by color, 86% Polyester 14% Spandex/85% Polyester 15% Spandex and 83% Polyester 17% Spandex
- Thumbholes? Yes.
- Zipper pockets? Yes.
- Similar seams on front? Yes.
- Similar seams and ventilation on back? No.

- Additional notes: More of a silky soft fabric but still slightly brushed. It’s more like Nulu or Nulux than Luon.
